I decided to skip the traditional cap and gown elements on this graduation card and went with roses and a butterfly instead.  Even the patterned paper I used both inside and out isn't the typical graduation fare, but one of the fun designs in the "Confetti" paper pack from PaperWishes.

I chose several Spellbinders Nestabilities® dies (Labels 4 and the Deckled Rectangles) to add interest to both the front and inside of the card. 

As usually tends to be the case with me these days, Copic Markers® were my go-to coloring option.

Well, it's that time of the year again.  I kept the stamping simple on this grad card, letting the printed papers and embellishments provide the greatest focal points.

This wonderfully versatile stamp from Stamps By Judith  can be used for any number of themes. I've used graduation-themed printed papers and embellishments here, but I have also used this same stamp for a cute Valentine's Day card (see February 2012 post) and to just wish a special great-niece a "Warm Hello'" ( see below).
