I used Tsukineko Tuxedo Black ink to stamp the horse (B and J's Art Stamps) on white cardstock.  I then created a mask by stamping the horse image on Judikins Eclipse Tape and carefully cutting out the horse.  However, instead of using the positve part of the mask (the horse), I used the negative portion of the mask (the part left after the horse was cut out).  This was then carefully placed on the cardstock around the horse image, allowing me to stamp the Flag image (Our Daily Bread Designs--"God Bless America" stamp set) over the horse image while protecting the background. After removing the mask, I used Copic® markers to color the horse, ground and sky. I used colorful papers to create a "Southwestern" feel.

I continued with the Southwestern theme inside the card with a cactus stamp and the musician figures.  Tombow markers were used to color the stamped images.

I used a Spellbinders "Large Labels" die to cut the focal image on the front of the card, and a Spellbinders "Large Deckled Rectangle" die to cut the one inside the card
